We are recruiting for a person to join our customer services team. The primary responsibility will be as a customer account handler. You will be responsible for day to day contact with customers and administering their account. This will include processing customer orders, dealing with queries, controlling and reconciling stock and ensuring that we deliver a consistent high level of customer service.
You will need to be experienced and confident dealing with customer requests in a fluid and busy work environment. The company uses standard Windows applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer and you will be expected to be fully conversant in using these applications. In addition, we use a number of more specialised applications for our warehousing and transport functions for which full training will be given. You will be able to work seamlessly with both I.T. and paper-based systems.
The role requires a person who is flexible, methodical, literate, numerate and personable. Experience working in a transport or warehousing environment would be beneficial. You will be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and be customer oriented and commercially minded.
Starting salary is dependent upon experience, in the range of £12-14k with further increases once competent.
